Sold my old alloys to my mate, (my closest mate) in the middle of May but with going on holiday he said he couldn't pay me till we got back and I said fair enough as I wasn't in need of the £200 at the time but said i would need it by the end of June which he agreed. So he's had them on his car for 1.5 months now and still has not paid me even though he has just had a pay rise and was paid last week  I need the money now to pay for stuff  I said over the last few days when will i get it but he just keeps coming up with excuses, ie MOT, Tax. But if I owed money to whoever and said i would give it to them on a certain date i would just do it and not have to be reminded. Does anyone else feel that way or is it just me

just make it clear to him that you need the money NOW as you have things you have to pay for.
Any decent mat would give you the money if he has it available, and not fob you off with excuses if he doesnt.

My priorities normally go any legal obligations, then debts, then if theres anything left its a bonus 
If I owed a mate money I'd probably borrow it from my parents (mainly because I know they wont go short as long as its re-payed ASAP) and pay them back ASAP

NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE, from Banks has ever seen that sort of money. Let alone been able to lend it to someone.

LOL no most of the people in Banks are snobby old farts who cant keep themselves to themselves, they are always moaning. Am not one of them though, thank god I was not born there lol

yes dont get me started on what ive lent to people in the past and had to ask/moan/argue to get it back
id had only just got back what ive lent out last month, so that i finally have all my money to my self! then my brother (whos messed me around time and time again) rings me from malia , hes crashed someones moped and has got to get £400 or will be arrested, so me being as soft as i am, send him £300 over, im going away in 2 weeks myself and this is my spending money i'll be mad if he doesnt friggin get it sorted when hes back

also only lend money you can afford to loose, its all about risk and trust at the end of the day. I've only lent money I know that if I didnt get back by the time they say, I wont be proper fucked.
