Just thought I would say is there any point in getting decent tyres on the standard 14" alloys?

I've had quote that for Pirelli (185 60 R14) £52!

Thats with fitting & Balancing etc etc

i wouldent pay £208 for rims for my 14s

I done it the cheap mans ways £20 for 4 tigra 15" alloys and then X4 yokohama vr 195/50/15 £100 fitted

they must be shite tyres But aslong as im legal..

lol, It's just the tyres I'm after mate (use my standard alloys) It does seem pretty expensive - I will have a look around...

Yeh but that quote is per tyre ?

so its gonna be 52x4 = 208
seems alot to me thats all

yea I know it's just you said "Rims" I thought you meant as in Whole Tyre... I have been told it's £50 for Avon tyres..? they any good?

im not even gonna pay that for 195/40/16's!!! dont be silly with the 14" tyres unless ure going low profiles...

KU31s are brilliant tyres though, thats what i like to wrap around superlites

Avon are good, toyo are good in the wet but dont last very long.

Tyres matter, dont buy crappy ones unless you expect to drive like a granny
