how old are u and are u on about ur full bike test?

if your under 21 you will do a restricted test and can ride anything under 33bhp but pretty much any bike can be restricted including an R1 but 400`s are gd first bikes!

im 20 so probably would be the restricted test then, so pretty much i could ride anything but have to restrict it? how do you do that? how much is the bike test btw? just thinking it would be better for getting to work, parking/traffic is terrible

test is only bout £50 but its the training and bike hire u need to sort out which will all cost about £300 all in.

the restricter is normally just a few washers in thne carbs to restrict the fuel!

the restrictors come out though like most of my mates have

I think after 3 years on the restricted test then opens up for you to ride big bikes, - one of my mates license is like this......

tbh i would get a 400 or a 600 tops for a first bike.. theres more to a bike than power, if youve never rode before youll need to learn how to corner etc

not to mention if you restrict an R1 or similiar where all the power is made in the top of the range itll be a shite ride compared to a high revving 400
