he had a race with me, i won, but.
during race on cam his car sorta twitched

so while pacing he got on and off throttle a couple of times and the drivers wheel was moving independent of itself,

so got under to have a look, and the chasis has split all along the bulkhead so what the lower arm was bolted to, that bit of steel wasnt attached to the car.

so it got killed, we stripped it, and took the engine out by unbolting it till it fell out, i cba getting the engine crane so jacked it up as high as it would go, on some bricks too "getto" then i simply lifted the car the rest of the way and marc slid the engine out.

there was only the shell left and a load of junk that went to the scrappy, all other parts were removed, as its been replaced witha mk2 xr2

well when he got it, it had 12 months on it, it still had 3 left, so my assumption is and looking at the preivious welding it was bodged throu an mot to sell
