I want to buy a new bike, I've got my eye on one on Ebay, and it's ending soon. I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me (roughly) if this will fit me ok?

I'm 6ft and the bike size is:

Frame Size: 21 inches
Wheel Size: 26 inches

I have a feeling this might be a little small, but I can't see many with frames above 21 inches.

Just measured my inside leg (34 inches) and multiplied by 0.65 is 22.1. Should it be ok?

My mum (lol) keeps nagging me, thinking it will be too small. Why would that be the maximum I could go for? Personally I'm happy to get the 21"; I like the bike and I think the size will be fine.

So you're positive it will be OK

Thanks a lot for your help C2RL R - appreciate it.

21" will be fine, if not a bit too big, especially if you intend to do 'serious' biking. My dad is 5'10" and rides a 17"

But yeah, it'll be fine

I think that's went out of my price range, looking at this now:

It doesn't have a rear disk break, like the other one did. Nor does it have quick shift gear, but it would do for what I need it for.

I went ahead and bought:

Specs are as followed:

Model Type: Front suspension hardtail.
Frame Construction: Aluminium 6061 square to round profile tubing with replaceable dropout..
Forks: Zoom suspension fork.
Frame Size: 21"
Wheel Size: 26"
Gear System: 18 speed Shimano with twist changers.
Wheel Specification: Black alloy "V" section rims with alloy disc hubs.
Brakes: DISC brake front with alloy V brake rear.
Handlebar and Stem: Quill stem with upswet handlebars.
Additional: Factory boxed, some assembly & adjustment required.
Frame Colour: Red / white / blue
Fork Colour: Red.
Cycle Condition: New, factory boxed.
Carriage: £24.99 usually despatched within 5 working days.
Warranty: 12 months return to base parts only, excludes labour and carriage.

Price is £105 ($209) including shipping.

I think I'll like it. Would prefer if it h ad better gears (quick shift ones), but a good purchase I think.
