how do you go about doing this? ive just renewed my car tax which was £99 for 6months. is there any way i can cash this back in before the tax runs out at the end of this month?
only reason for this is my MOT runs out on the 5th july and i have no way of transporting the xe to get it finished once the MOT is out so its prob another few months untill i can finally get it done

Go on www.direct.gov.uk there's a form on there that you can download and print off. I think it's called D14, although I may be completly wrong.

and I was nearly right with the form it's a V14.

Go to the post office and get the relevent forms.
Aslong as its posted before the end of the month you will get the remaining months cash back.
