Just got in on my phone, does it really work, is it true people over about 30 can't hear it?.... tried it on mum, she couldn't but wasn't sure she was listening for the right thing....

its a frequency that at a certain age you cant hear anymore. so yeah it works tried it out on load of peeps at work

ahh i had that high pitched thing ages and ages ago. my uncle who sent me it is in his 50's and can hear it someone did infact play it in the pub last night at work. I think you would have to have a very very good quality speaker for it to not be heard if you know what i mean, most phones have shit speakers anyway. play it on a decent enough hi-fi system and you wont hear it after a certain pitch. you would probably feel it in your head though! same as low freq's the lower it is the harder to hear but you can always feel it

just tried it with my mum and she couldnt hear it!!

then my bro went all technical on us and downlaoded a frequency generator and me and him could hear to the highest my sound card would let us go about 23000 where my mum could just hear it it 12000 :O crazy

Its just due to deterioration of hearing over age. High frequencies are the first to go.

if anyone wants it go to http://www.galaxyyorkshire.co.uk if the Hirsty's daily dose link is on the front page then click that, if not go to the first butto on the top menue bar and chosse it there...... then at the bottom of his page there is a "are you getting old" link, that will download it for you.
