Then theres games like Zelda, Godfather, Scarface, and quite a few games that are also available on the XBox and PS3.

I think the problem is that it was made available before there was a large/decent catalogue of games available. Whereas the XBox/PS3 had running series and the backing of developers whereas Nintendo have had to pretty much start from scratch.

i will get one of these soon, i miss mario cart, mario bros, golden eye etc and there will probably be more game releases for the wii than the 360 and ps3 combined, i just wish more places in the uk would have them in stock

No I don't either. I think its safe to say Sony has the larger catalogue and it will be some time before Nintendo get a catalogue built up.

nintendo makes the most money on there game consoles compared to the others and the wii and ds have been selling like crazy in japan, and not far behind worldwide.
for game produres making a game on the wii is easy and will bring in big money
