Was given a nice low milage cav to run about it from the "in-laws" body work is mint etc etc......

run it for about 7 months, had to change a back box, battery, cam belt and water pump

did the cambelt and water pump 3 days ago....

got in it today thought hummm whats that noise..... rev it 2k sounds fine 3k grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

bottom end is knackered!

anyone want a 75k m reg cav? 1.8 8v?

Yeah usually the case when family/friends help you out by giving you there old car to get about in - its ends up costing a fortune!!

could throw another engine is cheap enough, but think the time has come to move on! wanted to save for an m5 but savng time has been cut short..... s4 is looking like a good option right now

not so keen on the idea of spendin more money on it to be honest! deffo not so keen on tuning another car when i have a half finished one in the garage

although the thought did cross my mind
