is there any difference between a 1.4 sport gearbox and one from a 1.6 sport?

isnt the speedo different on early models? think the garage had to convert mine iirc

well i was thinking of putting a 1.6 engine in my car but leaving in the 1.4 box

yes thats what i did, but the guy helping me had to convert it for the speedo reading.

F13 and F15 have the same size housings, so they will both fit exactly the same.
You might just have to check things like electronic speedo pickups etc.

wont have to change anything at all on the speedo if its the same box
