2 months back i got my 1st car just hoping i dident get ripped off..

Corsa L reg 93 1.4 sri the 8v model not 16v
105k i think this is LOADS of miles other corsa ppls told me it normal....
6 month tax
12 months mot
Some service history and 2 prev owners

Had a tiny bit of run at the bottom under the door and needs a new boot lock and also bonnet...
Everything works electric windows, electric mirrors/heated etc
Engine runs sweet but head gasket replace around 50k

He wanted £600 witn no tax and in the end i got it for £530 and he got the tax put on...

What do you think sounds about right or should have kept looking

105k isn't too bad since its a strong 8v lump. 16v tend to smoke blue and burn oil at 70k+ because of the valve stem seals, although that is easily solved.

How many miles is that on then

All the 1.4 sri's are see are the 16v ones glad to hear someone has the 8v one like me

I did want to add ashley manifold and cat back box system but i hear the 8v aint all that good for tuning
i got vented disc and the vauxhall 5 spoke wheels nothing ott...

since i have had the car i only really drove it about 100mile in 2-3 months worried about the miles, gaskets going etc...

i was going to get a merit 1.2 8v but at the time insurance was cheap on the 1.4
