Ok just painted some parts of my plastic trim from inside the car, now in black how long should i leave it before i rub it down with 1200 grit wet?

u should have used plastic primer, then rub down, then colour, rub down again, then lacquer.
i would leave it to dry till tomorrow if uve only just done it.

Rub down, plastic primer / 2 coats, followed by 3 coats of normal primer, rub down with 800 wet then 2 coats of black gloss paint
Next step is the rub down of the paint but need to wait 24hours i think. Well if thats what your suggesting
