do people use for their conversions? any fancy listing the size for v6, calibra etc. pretty please read the tutorial and looks and easy job to do. will fit my braided hoses aswell as upgrading disks. i've got 16" wheels so clearnace shouldn't be an issue should it?

I used 2.0 ATE's on mine. They did the job fine

well what size are standard 1.6 sport brakes? i thought they were 256mm what size are 2litre brakes?

I think that the calipers are wider to allow for chunkier disks. No idea though.

Glad you found it helpful. It's a great conversion to do, made such a difference even when the car was just a 1.2 8v

I think 2.0 ones are thicker than the 1.6 ones.

Though I just found this:

Corsa GSi are 236x20 vented

2ltr Astra are 256x20 vented

will v6 brakes just bolt on, dont need a bracket or anything for calipers? also ive heard fiat coupe turbo disks fit? what calipers would i need for them>?

V6 calipers for fiat disks 284mm discs iirc

V6 calipers then redrilled vectra/calibra discs 288mm

Close fit on 15s but do fit

You need spiggot rings for the disks if you use Vauxhall ones.

Which if you do get some u2u me for some spiggot rings fit mine perfect and can get more made up if anyone wants any
