You reckon a virus will give them no option but to withdraw it?

You reckon it was the horse that ran out in front of the rider?

Up to the riders at the end of the day!

Ok it's sad that spectators die, but it's up to them to be there too.

I'm sick of people banning things which are up to the people themselves to take part and enjoy the risk.

Lots of pedestrians get killed walking along the road, it doesnt mean people get stopped from walking..

Obviously not in the same respect etc, but thry know when they are there that is a great chance of death!

It's stupid everything getting banned!

My condolances go out to all the families involved.

As for it bieng an organised death, thats nonsense. The riders know the risks. If they didn't want to do it, they wouldn't. They're not forced into it. The riders do it for love of the place. This is the big event of the true road racing calender, after the previous events at the North West 200 and other public road races previous to the TT.

The spectators know the risks involved too. They're stood in peoples garden, behind hedges etc. It the closest your going to get to any racing event.

Formula 1 still races Monaco, which are public roads with no run off etc. Should that be banned too??
