Havent been on here in a while, computers been playing up.
I finally got a new car anyway.
Spotted it in Autotrader, and went to take a look and loved it.
Its a 1999, V reg, 1.6 Sport, in Flame red, ive never wanted a red car, but considering it had 36k and FSH and 2 previous lady owners, i couldnt turn it down!
I got it for a bargain price, well i think so anway.
Completely standard, apart from GSi alloys.
Pics:
The day i picked her up:

The day after, after a polish to bring back the red, and also changed side repeaters to MK4 astra ones:

Thought id treat myself to a new stereo, got a Ripspeed one, with DVD player and 7inch screen. Happy with it:

And a shot of mine and a mates 1.4 Sport at work. Although hes just sold it on ebay for £1100 :

What do you all think?

Im not keen on the GSi alloys either, just need to save up for alloys now, either Corsa C SRi 16's, or 16" Softstars, which do people think?

corsa c sri mate. never been a fan of softstars and they are quite common so be a bit different mate. am sure it will look nice whatever choice of wheel you go for though.

What about lowering?
I was going to go 60mm on 16s?
Would 40mm on 15s be more practical?
Or even for on 16s? Cause i can get the Corsa C SRi alloys, full set with Yoko tyres for 360.
