Hey guys, i got my magnex fitted a month or two back. And it gives a sportyish sound if your standing behind the car. But its not very loud at all, and doesnt souund that much different to the standard exhaust. The noise it does make is also overtaken by the hideous standard induction whine which doesnt help matters. The guy hu fitted my magnex said dont expect much noise from a 1.2 as they arent very 'blowy' exhausts. How can i make my exhaust louder? Without replacing loads of parts, im broke!
The exhaust is a 6x4 oval meant for a GSI

Well theres 'nuisance loud' and there is 'sporty nice sounding loud'...sadly its neither of these, it just sounds standard unless u have ur ear right up to the pipe

well either, losen exhaust so it blows 
or get a new exhaust
or get a decat and remove the silencer, only options availabe to you

mines loud because i put the k&n back on, was loud and deep with the standard airbox that was drilled. but mines a 1.4

Hmmm i like teh sound of the magnex, when ive just filled up the car with petrol so im on a full tank it gives a nice sound at about 4000 RPM. Its just...the corsa induction sound, it whines so much louder than the exhaust and makes the car sound pants! So im wondering whether to drill my airbox/derestrict it for a bit more noise

well thats true magnex are not loud but sweet  If You want loud one i would go for a PECO or DNX.
Btw. Drill your air filter or buy an K&N
