I like to think you haven't lived until you have gone to an exam still slightly pissed? Hmmm, maybe not.

2nd year exams... So slightly important But it's an exam on lathes and CNC programming which isn't the most challenging stuff

I finished mine about 2 weeks ago. Im doing Computer Science so its not exactly a mickey mouse course either lol
Last night I was at a barrel party! was litteraly a water butt filled with 20 litres of vodka, shoot loads of white white, shoot loads of cider andsome blackcurrant squash to flavour it. I have about 6 pints of that shoot and I was beyond a mess, Im still pissed now!

Cheers bout the car... I'm working on the old girl to bring her back to life! Will be ready one day
My mate who's doing computer science finished a few weeks back actually. His course is hardcore compared to my Industrial Product Design colouring in thingie
The questions were pretty easy, though in the heat (yea....) I kept on fucking up my CNC program that I had to write. Well, it was me being stupid so I should have got full marks on that. The other questions were blagalicious and didn't require anything but a calculator and come common sense. Bonus

Computer Science definately ranks up there as one of the hardest courses at uni. It properly sucks. Most people I know struggle to get like a 2:2 in it overall.
I hate it, everyone else has hardly any lectures, yet you've got a whole week load jam packed. Then all the practicals, tutourials your also meant to attend, practically means you have no time off!
Then in your time off, your given so many assignments (due to doing about 8 modules a term) it's a silly amount of work.
Also the work on the course is not a simple thing such as research and write an essay. With something simple like that, you know how long roughly the work will take you, and how you can start it and finish it. Even if you hand in a rubbish essay you'll still get a mark for it.
Where as computer science, the assignments are like solving programming puzzles, where you either get it right or wrong and can take forever to find the answer or something really stupid could be causing it to be wrong for ages! and then you'll realise etc. Worst feeling is, if you can't get the code to work / find the solution, your essentially staring down the barrel of a gun of getting a 0%.
Not to mention the whole course is full of complete dorks in long leather coats, who don't shave, wash or go outside normally. and no females - well no females you'd find slightly attractive.
Then at the end of the year, while everyone's revising for their 3 or 4 exams, with a few days inbetween each to do more revision, you get whacked with 8/9 exams all clumped together, with no space inbetween (some on the same day as each other!).
As you can tell I'm only slightly bitter, that I live with a load of people doing micky mouse courses, who sit around all day long playing pro evo, have courses full of fitties and will breeze a first without having to break a sweat!
