i've bought myself a near enough new set of eibach 30mm springs for my 93' corsa sri and havnt yet got round to fitting them.but i am tempted (after seeing corsamat's car) to go for a full on 60mm drop on gmax shocks and springs.what does everyone think i should do?i'm currently on 15"s but am tempted to get sum steelys for the old skool look.will be using the car everyday for my 20mile round trip to work, and also visit relatives 170miles away about twice a year but this isnt too big an issue.opinions please!!thanku!

If you want handling, stick to the Eibachs. If you want looks then just go for the Gmax and get it lowered a decent amount.

i don't know if its just me, but if you value your spine and have roads like outer mongolia near yours then don't bother going to low, and if you do, don't go with Gmax, especially for your dampers, as the springs themselves arn't too bad....

i bought a second hand gmax kit for my corsa when i had it, it looked good and i could chuck it into bends without worrying too much with 15's alloy's on. had to go over speed bumps slower than 10mph though, and also down the length of my road because of the pot holes etc. if you want it to look cool, slam it on the gmax, if you want it to be practical, dont! craig

this was mine with the kit on,

also had my wheels white and it didnt look so low, pics in my garage
