Grandad sadly passed away from Cancer so the website has been closed, but if your mate wants any pictures of the items i have then i can send him some. I was going to build a mini but i havent the time now. I have the real tubo manifold, turbo and oil cooler from the old mini aswell.
Here is a pic of the alternator:

It's definintely a Metro Turbo engine, ask him if it's got a decent gearbox and diff in it, it'll chew straight through the standard ones, but looking at the rest of the car, I'd say he's probably aware of that

Just spoken to his bro and yep its a 1.3 metro engine with plenty of internal work, not sure on the spec on the gearbox and diff but like you say Im sure he will have uprated it.

Looks like he'll be going for a similar spec engine to Matt's Mini Williams then. He ran the same, Metro turbo that had been silly tuned to give over 200bhp on full boost.
He said it would be lag lag lag lag boooooom and it'll fly past tuned Cosworths all the time. 1 Particular time him and 2 cossies were having a blast, then some old bill gave chase and the mini was the first to get away Think theres a video of Matts Williams mini on youtube. HE used to drill into the tyre tread to try to give him that little bit more grip
Matts was just silly fast and fairly tidy where that is stunning (love the colour).
As for someone saying V-tec, great engine conversion on the minis, but costs about £4k-£5k total, more than a LET corsa.... Awesome engine for the mini though!!

Haha, it sounds like its gonna be fun then!!!!
There are a few mini turbos Ive seen on Youtube actually and they look seriously fast! Reckon to 60 some of them may even have the Tuscan quakin in his Bridgestones!
