Is it worth it? its £350 for 3 years. Bmw offered my mum this yesterday, Car she bought comes with 18 inch wheels with runflats so its expensive for tyres. So i was thinking when they tyres were nearing the limit an all 4 of the tyres accidendly got slashed by "vandals then they would be replaced with brand new ones?

ANyone had this type of insurance before?

there will be clauses and conditions to the insurance

i wouldnt be suprised if the insurance doesn't cover the tyres after they reach a certain depth...

Yeh VX offered it to me - I turned it down, then 2 weeks later I got a puncture!!

£350 seems a bit excessive but I guess with run flats it would be logical. Run flats are £150> each I think.

There will be clauses in it somewhere. Personally i'd keep the £350 and put it to some new tyres when they are needed.

I'd keep the £350 and replace the runflats with normal tyres if they did get slashed.
