It will be getting polished when its in there so will be no swirl marks etc in the paint if its a good buff.

So i'd try and leave it as if you start polishing / waxing it more than likely bring back a few swirl marks.

It wont remove all the paint defects. Its bound to be someone using G3 with a rotary polisher who will give it the quick once over.

It will need to be sealed and waxed for it to be of any use.
