Then couple dyas/weeks alter they worked perfect again,. and the other night it started it again what is the problem? I've pt it in this section as its to do with ICE etc.

Yup and no wires are touching could it be because these are the onlyones that work in the car and all the power is going to them ??

No offence mate but its probably the quality of the speaker @ that price! What are they? 6x9's? And who made them? I found out the expensive way that if you pump the volume on cheaper, lower quality speakers that they won't take a lot of punishment! I had the same issue, fine one minute then crackled non stop the next!

no offense taken dude, i didnt expect them to be top notch, but they can half kick some bass out, (when they work) is it just a case of getting the proper set up?

Maybe if you wire them up to an amp? Unless you've actually fucked them beyond repair!

what make model are they, check all wiring to head unit sounds as though you have a loose connection somewhere. as said above could be just down to the quality of them, anothwer factor is do they use less wattage than what your hu puts out ie if the only need 40w each and your head unit does 50 - 55w then they will destort as theres too much power thats if im right anyway

may sounds a bit of a simple answer but the what are u playing?
i find i need to turn the radio volume up higher than when playing a CD to get the same effect....crackling only on the radio?
also, i find that certain tracks make my speakers sound blown, even at the lower volumes, just cos the sound is that rich...are to try it with the same track if it occurs randomly but i had the same worry until i realised it only happened on one track on the album!
