ive been offered a 205 gti 1.9 for 500 quid . in really good condition with a good engine . anyone ever driven one just want to know if there any good and what kind of money there worth.also are they better to drive than a corsa sport. tempted at the mo

i brought one not so long back, alot more fun then any of the corsas i owned, handle great from standard and not too slow either.
If its in good conidition like you say it is easily worth 500, most go for around 1k

Sold the black 1 just after christmas then bought the Gti6 First time around the black one had koni adjustables , mi brakes allround , and was a 1.9 Gti was not bad car at all , red one was a 1.6 Gti on avo adjustables and decent tyres and was like a go kart really did stick to the road!!

Mint ones are fetching 2.5-3k these days unfortunately. I contemplating getting one though. They are gorgeous cars in my opinion.

Im only really referring to ones which have been rebuilt to standard spec from top to bottom. You can get one from justgtis.com, ive seen their work and it is top class.
