one of my mates (geoff) was ploughing another mates (tarquin) girlfriend, when tarquin found out he dumped her and now the girlfriend and geoff are going out. i don't see tarquin anymore because he accuses the rest of us for not telling him about it, despite not actually knowing 
your best bet is to have a word with your mate, he might not be arsed

One of my mates is going out with the girl i lost my v plates too (was with her for about 6 months), doesn't bother me in the slightest as it was about 2 years after. I wouldn't be best pleased if one of my mates got with someone who i'd been really really serious with though no matter how long it had been. A girl who I used to see for example whoi I split up with about 3 years ago, i'd be miffed if any of my mates went out with her now even.

This has happened a few times with my mates, from both perspectives, but we don't let girls get in the way of our friendships! It would be stupid to let such a thing happen.
