I know its corsasport but alot of you own other cars and i was wonder what you lot think about bmw 328isports.
2.8 litre ( 6 cylinder )
193 bhp
7.1 0-60
group 16 ins
and 30mpg.
Im quite impressed, has all the nice features too, leather interior and climate control also my insurance doesnt go up by much so its all good.

Is the 2.8 only 193bhp? My 2.5 runs 200bhp with no mods and thats proven on the rollers.

The 2.8 has 1bhp more than the 2.5

the reason it only has 193bhp was it was to replace the 325 but german tax laws in 1996 or 1997 limited the power to under 195bhp (mercs e36 rival was also hit by this) so bmw greatly restricted the 328.
if your willing to put around 500 quid aside that will get you a 325 manifold, enlarged throttle body and a remap. there is also a washer type device that needs to be removed from the air box to increase airflow. this should see you to the better side of 220bhp.
also the 328 is around 6.4- 6.8 to 60

although it didnt effect every e36 it still is something to take note of, if you want to put yourself at complete ease then get a 1998 or 1999 model which didnt use the nikasil engines
