then it aint fake
so you keeping the note then?? or has your boss 'confiscated' it...
regardless if its cash in hand or not, your legally entitled to the money and if he docks your wages you can get advice from the c.a.b. na pos. persue small claims.
i got laid off in my old job at the garage, then he had the audacity to turn round and not pay me my last months wages saying i was swindling the till - took him to the cleaners and got 3 months wages as compensation, although its all spent now...
he tried the excuse as the 'cctv' was broken, yet he was still supplying footage of cars to the police for drive off's when it was apparently broken

But he came in, paid for something that was £5, I gave him £45 change, and he didnt come back to collect what he just ordered, thats the biggest give away.
I'll tell him to put the note in my wages tonight.

I'm not allowed to take scottish notes in work, due to them being harder to change or something
if i went to your shop and you refused to take my scottish notes i would be kicking off! its legal tender and you have to accept them

It's because of the fact that we don't see them, lots of places don't take ENGLISH £50 notes here, because they aren't common, and thus are easy to fake.
It's nothing to do with the fact that it's just Scottish .

She doesn't if she's suspicious of them and thinks they're fake, which she might, if she hadn't seen one before I know I would.

i used to take scotish at work but i covered it in that special teser pen first. fake scottish 20's are quite popular, mainly due to people not knowing hat to look for.
It anyone asked if i took scottish i always said "yes, as long as its real"

Also
as long as there is a sign up in the store, dont have to take notes
in the wholesalers in liverpool that we go to, they have put up a sign saying they no longer accept £20 Scottish notes as there was LOADS that were fake

If I went in a shop & they refused to take my notes, id say fine, pick up my 'purchases' & walk out with them, ive offered them money thats legal tender and they refused to take it.....therefore im not committing theft!!
