hiya does any body know if a 16v starter motor and alternator will fit my 8v engine as my car seems like it always has a flat battery, i no ive not left anything on i even disconneced my amp, when i g to start my car its s sluggish to turn the starter then all of a sudden it speeds up and just about starts the other day i went to start my car all i had was clonk clonk clonk as if it were stuck in the ring gear, had to push and rock the car in 5th lol anyways cheers people

sounds like the solonoid is sticking on your starter mate.run the car and check the voltage at your battery.that will tell you if your alternator is ok.

you can swop the solonoids over though can't you ?
