Ive watched this more times than I care to mention....(on sci fi now)

And now Ive just had a thought....why doesn't the T101 just blow the kneecaps/legs off the 1000?

Im guessing hopping/limping after John Conner wouldn't be so effective

because it'll just morph them back, like when he shoots off the metal hook when the 1000 is running after the car
