just won one on ebay for £3.37 in good condition.
how easy is it to remove the old one? 5 minute swap jobby?

Yup
Unclip the boot panel on the inside, 3 nuts holding the boot handle on. take them off and pull off the handle
Maybe an idea to fit it with locking nuts if you have a sub and like your bass. Mine came lose cause 2 bolts seemed to rattle themselves off!

well I do have a sub & amp, though they aint in the car due to the amp having no sound output.
