They are really good,
You spray a lubricant onto the paint (quick / speed detailer) then rub the clay over the bodywork.
It removes all the shit attached to your paint and leaves it as smooth as glass ready to polish then wax to a very very nice shine

from what ive seen its the shit, its not an alternative to polish though it just takes all the icky bits off the paintwork like tar etc

Yeah they are good, use before you wax/polish and the paint will be silky smooth. Good for getting rid of tar and bugs too.
