i want to put a debadged grill on my r reg corsa, but the standard one is connected to the bumper, any1 no if this need to be sawed off?

R-reg came in both the pre-facelift and facelift.

It is removable, by cutting it out, but the fit of the debadge grills can be shitty.

I thought the face lift was in 97 whereas my car is a 98.

Well my corsa was a 1996 facelift one, the grille will fit either with a bit of bodging, give it a go !
