Well seeing as its raining and I was beyond bored this morning I chopped my plates... lol

Actually quite like it... oh and she passed an MOT on Friday with no advisories.. maybe keep it another week or 2..

Why would they? More chance of leaking water because ive drilled them to put on with screws rather than cutting them down...

Nah just exactly the same as a full size plate.. In the end its just a clear bit of plastic stuck on top of the background..

LOL, dont tempt me Colin.. This is the first car ive had in a while that I don't want to get rid of.. lol

Its staying at least till end of July, then I'll see what I'm like money and job wise..

I used a jigsaw, a stanley blade and a rusty hacksaw... oh and a file.. and there puuuurfect.

I chopped the one on the front of my scooby - its fine so long as you take your time & do it right.

i fancy one of those grills, will have to stop looking at the pics!

I wanted to cut my plates too but i didn't think on when i got them and have a border on them.

Wish I could cut down the front plate on my Punto. But they fitted the plate with screws at the edges so it would leave visable holes if I did..

I would refuse a car if they did that... no need for it..

Mine has got visible holes but the colour hides them well.

It's part of the bumper moulding. There are little square holes and clips in there. Guess it's a security precaution as numberplates seem to get nicked quite a bit thiese days
