Just looking for some new trainers for general running and maybe going to the gym in. Thinking of getting some Nike shox (or an schock absorbing range) so hopefully they will make the excerise less harsh on my legs.
Any1 any suggestions for trainers? looked at the few pairs below but unsure...

The ipod stuff turns your ipod into a storage device for workout data (distance travelled, time taken, etc.) and this can then be uploaded to the Nike website for analysis, etc.

wouldn't bother with the ipod shit, don't get bogged down with all that shit and stop using it after a month anyway.

I went to a running shop the other weekend and they really do match a pair of shoes to your feet and running style. I ended up with a piar of Nikes, and then read about the Ipod Sport kit and my shoes are compatible. So thats a bonus.

Go to a good running shop and get them to access your running style, Sweatshop are very good in MK and they have a few other stores knocking about IIRC.

I heard bad things about nike shox... i.e. gimmick.
asics Are pretty good for running.

Look gash, but awesome and respected for running. When I ran a 10k run last year, these were the number 1 recommended shoes I could find.
Asics Gel Kayano XII
They were like £110 at the time tho.
