Well, i'm also a member of Cruisenotts as it's the local site and mod car area near me. I work at Nuthall road halfords on bikes, been there for 5months.
Made a post on CN forums (only a newish member don't post offen) about coming into Halfords and saying hi, went on to joke about the 15% discount something like this:
Anyone go to nuthall road halfords?
Should come in i may be able 2 get 15% discount! 
Seriously you should come in and say hi 
Anyway someone called Dazmr2 has apparently reported me for Gross misconduct to my store manager, just for that.
Went on to say something about store rules and im sitting here thinking the serious part of my topic is clear "come in and say hi" things such as "!" "" show joke format towards the discount.
But anyway is it possible to get sacked as thats what his aim was. 
Awesome really  Sucks when i have posts of him offering £300 discounts on alloys

they cant sack you,it could of been anyone on your username.they would have no sure way of proving you wrote it

ye i get what you mean but...it wouldlnt stand up as most of my mates know my username and passwords and my pc is logged in all the time so could of been my brother trying to stir shit..theres plenty of ways of gettin round it

you only offered it anyway, you havent commited the offence, you might just get reminded by your store manager how the staff discount system works as a first warning/reminder at worst.

One post was we sell a bla bla headunit for £400 i can do it for you at £320 fitted.

Ah, can't lose my job anyway. NEVER had a warning or complaint, there are normally 3-4 stages before a person is sacked.
Spoken warning, written warning, disaplinery action, scaking.
Along those lines, i believe there are nomrally 1 or two written warnings before the stages where it gets serious.
Like i said i haven't commited an offence so i don't see why i should get in trouble i just stated on a forum as a joke 15% discount lark.
End of the day i turn up 2 work on time, leave when im meant to and do the jobs they want me todo.
Weird people but ill ring netherfields up when im in work and ask for daz so i can give him a bitching  lol!
