Truth is, people make fun of anything. Because we're indoctrinated to believe disabled people should be tiptoed around, it becomes taboo to mention anything in a humorous way.
You need to grow up a little bud. They were born with a disability they will live with the rest of their lives. To me, Thats no laughing matter however hard I look at it, I've not been "indoctrinated to believe" fuck all!
I'm plenty grown up, I know I have a warped sense of humour but hey, everyone's different.
The trouble comes from people who believe that others need them to defend their lives, this is where political correctness begins. It's why we have very little decent comedy nowadays. Most of what Monty Python did decades ago would never make it onto modern tv if it was filmed today - indeed the success of some shows like Little Britain is down to them pushing the boundaries of what people believe is acceptable.
Example; Anne from LB, that's making fun of a transvestite with learning difficulties, I haven't seen any outcries about it, but people do find it funny.
