Any ideas why this is happening (Yes i've taken the handbrake off!!!)
Low brake fluid? brake pads need changing?

low brake fluid, top up and check your pads see if there low, and chck for leaks

if its a HANDbrake light it will be switch - unless you have discs on the back it will be the switch.

Mine was on, but I took it to someone before my MOT, he serviced the car and fixed the handbrake light - said it was an easy job.
Could be: Break fluid, handbrake switch etc...

doubles up as a brake warning light, mine used to come on on corners on my owd car, topped up the fluid and it was fine

Same thing happened to mine turned out that one of my rear cylinders had split
