right i got my plates transfered over to my new car and the log book and tax came for the new plate can i put it on my car now? just my insurace company is shut for the day till tomorow so cannot get them to update my reg plate on my policy.

just wanst sure if i cud drive with new plates on but insuranced under the cars original one.

Legally its uninsured till u notify ur insurance company, although I didnt tell mine till about 3 days after I had them put on
