Lost my uncle the same way, he and his girlfriend were hit by a taxi.

He was killed instantly, his girlfriend died later in hospital, awful way to go.

A lot more bikers die this time of year (nice warm weather, light evenings)

Be careful.

So easy for them to not be seen though, and the majority of them can drive them well so they will take it to the max etc..

You just need to be there for them! Comfort them if they need it!

Its all over the local news and front page of the paper today.
It says father of 2 when its actually father of 3, just emailed the paper pretty much telling them to get their facts right.
Just been down to his local post office and cancelled their copy for today, dont think they would want it posting through the door.
He was a very competent rider.

Nothing you can do or say which will take the pain away, you just have to be there for them an help anyway you can. Sorry to hear this though. I lost my Dad just over a month ago and I just wanted people close to me to be there and give me space whenever I wanted it. Its something which noone can make anything better for you its a strange feeling and theres never a day that goes by that I dont think about him.
Just be there and be patient.
