something was bouncing on it and has put two small cracks in it

they arent on the coned bit in the middle but like the main part of it. doesnt sound any worse or anything. just wondering if i need to invest in a new one.

Not alot, Take the sub out and buy some sort of glue. I think you can get specialist stuff for this kind of thing. Wont harm it though unless its realy big. usualy notice it being bad when its on the edge near the part that actualy moves or the very center

Where is it split sam? pic?

If it's in a sealed enclosure then it will affect it more than if it's in a ported enclosure, either way it won't sound as good, if it's on the edge then it's fucked.
