hi all. i am thinking about geting a strut brace for my car which i have now had lowerd.
what are the differances between a £50 omp or a £25 cheapy from ebay.

Then mounts which you bolt to each turret will probably be crap on the cheap ones and made from aluminium. It will deform and do a crap job. The steel ones are stronger and will stiffen up the car. As far as I know, the OMP ones are steel

Yea, for sure. We pulled an aluminium one off of a Corsa a few weeks back. It had almost pulled the mounting nuts through the holes because it was made from recycled beer cans

o, just can not bring my self to part with fifty quid for a sturt brace for a 1.4 will i see any dramatic changes ???????????

have heard that strut braces make a big difference in handling. post a thread in the wanted section for one, maybe get a good second hand one.

cheers mate lee has offered me a omp for 50 quid hardly used. just dont really want to spend that much on somthing you dont see lol

lol i know what u mean mate. people i know have strut braces on the cars and say it does make them handle alot better. not to sure as ive never driven a car with one on. £50 is a good price for a good one tho
