How much would someone usually charge to rewire an old table lamp? and a standard lamp?
Trying to get some quotes as I have a few that have original european wiring etc.

Yeah but the bulb holders are original etc, would these need changing too? Can I keep the original control boxes for them?

Should be alright, they should have little grub screw holding the wires in. Erm as long as the control boxes are in good working order and not cracked etc i cant see why not

aye.
take it apart, will only be a loose wire, or a quick visit to the diy store.
