Powerflex bushes. Thought I would uprate instead of replacing the existing bushes with OE ones. They only cost about twice as much

Who on here uses them? Did you have a noticable increase in performace?

They are all done, I just need to be able to get there to pick the stuff up. Plus work keep on offering me nice ammounts of cash to do stuff for them and this project is getting to the expensive stage I'll be coming back on Weds though to put the car back together...

I got the purple ones on the rear beam. Nothing noticable unless you are quite perceptive of the cars handling before they are fitted

we are replacing all the bushes on the Viva with powerflex jobbies but i suppose will be more noticable on a 31 year old car

According to Powerflex the bushes degrade in about 3 years (yea right). So it's probably worth doing as my Corsa is pretty old

All I need to do now is figure out what brakes I fitted on my Corsa and get some new disks and pads for it now too

dont fit the front tie bar to chassis ones, just fit the faclifted bracked and bushs, come as a set from vauxhall.

powerflex ones just pull out!

no, i fitted them. ghetto style out side my old house, i used a blow lamp and hammer

im sure powerflex changed the bush to prevent them pulling out and im sure it was the facelift ones that did it anyway as TOMAS was the first person I knew about to have it happen

They have modified them. There are now two versions. One for old cars like mine, and one for newer cars like yours Mark as the newer models had larger tie bar mounts to the older ones...
