Right. If two twin's ( Male ) and two twin's ( Female ) was to concive. i.e one male with one of the female's and the other male with the other female.

Would the babies be the same? Was having a debate about this at work and I'm not to sure on this?

My non-educated guess

Each Sperm has different DNA.
No two people can be born identical without being together in the females body.

At the time of both conceptions, each sprem would be different - end of.

Your childrens features are infinately variable, and both sets of parents would conceive a different genetic result, regardless of whether their own genes are similar.

As Lisa says, you wouldn't have the same child again next time you tried.

No. As my brother's have a different Dad. But I thought with each couple having very similiar DNA, they would be very similiar babies?

not totally sure but ill take a guess, twins are formed when one egg serperates, however, if two different people concieve and serpeate eggs are used then logiccally dna is random enough to meen charecter traits would be different in both babies.

i would guess the possibility of the babies coming out the same is pretty much impossible due to differences in Dna, Eggs, genes ect.

But like i said that a totall guess of the top of my head.

Basically, if we call the male twins A and B, and the females C and D -

A and C have a baby, A's sperm, C's egg
B and D have a baby, B's sperm, D's egg.

The eggs in C and D are different, and the sperm in A and B are different, so the kids won't look the same.

Not all multiple births are identical, thats to do with x and y chromosones(sp)
