on my gsi (c16xe) ive got a vachum pipe that cums from the bulk head and goes into my inlet, theres a rubber gromit that holds it in place (in the manifold) that has split so it is suckin in air. would this cause the car to idle funny ie rev to 2000 rpm and idle at that?
wud appreciate any help

yes, sounds like the map sensor pipe, will cause all sorts of running probs, especially high idle.

cheers m8, ive got the gromit on order from vauxhall but it wont b in 4 another 4 weeks, been waitin 4 it 4 a month allready. its a pain cus it revs high when im at lights and junctions, bit embarisin lol
