different, one wont fit on the other due to having different size dowells for the pulleys.

They are different. Like Dave A says the pulleys only fit certain ones. The profiles of the cams are the same though.

The inlet is 0.5cm bigger on the 1.6, and the cams are a bigger duration.

my standard ones are identical.....even the same part numbers..
both cams have dowls too, its just the pullys - one has a groove, the other has a hole.
mabe mine was just odd tho.
monster, i dont think theres a 50mm size difference

0.5 cm is 5mm not 50mm
