Basically the above. Girlfriend has just started the car from cold ready to go home from visiting me at uni and when we flicked the lights on a small rattle develops from the drivers side somewhere. When you turn the lights off it stops, and when you put them on sides it stops. The units themselves havent been replaced as far as I know (had the car since Aug 06) and ive replaced a bulb in the passenger side.....

Probly nothing but I hate rattles and havent read about it on here before

Maybe just the alternator making the noise, when under load.

should i be worried, need to fix it? the alternator was my immediate thought because obviously its something to do with the electricity.....

I'd just leave it, unless it starts getting worse.
