I was leaving the gym a few days ago and had just made a phone call (not while moving) and put my phone on the passanger seat for some reason, anyway was on the way home and was going a little too fast when approaching a roundabout and had to break a little harder than the norm and my phone went flying into the footwell and never returned. When i arrived home i looked everywhere in the car for my phone and could not find it anywhere, eventually i looked up to the far end of the footwell and realised there is a gap between that and the plastic surround by where the hu is . I then got my dad to phone me and could hear my phone vibrating in behind this i started thinking that we would have to start stripping things out to get my fone back but luckily we could pull the bottom of the plastic out just enough for my phone to drop back into my footwell

I won't be putting my fone on the passenger seat again!!

it's worse if you have a 4pack on the passenger seat.
i'd rather crash than lose my beer.

less costly, but messier for sure.
i lost a phone under my first corsa seat for about 5months.

I was most upset when i found it. would have rather it not to have materialised at all.

change allways falls out of my pocket, ends up rolling down the seat and into the door pocket its usually pounds and 50p's lol but i used to put my phone in the hole below the flick down ashtray but i changed it and dont have the hole now so i find the best place for the phone is in that weird groove next to the handbrake, only trouble is its too low down and out of sight to hear and see if it rings or you get a message

That is one of the reasons why mine always goes in the glove box.

The other would be that you'd feel pretty silly arriving at the pearly gates having survived the initial impact/trauma of a massive accident but ended up being killed by getting hit in the head by your own phone.
