...Is it something most people do themselves?

Want it lowered but dont know weather just to get a garage to do it

not really to hard to be honest, rears are quite simple to do but, if not very clued up about cars then maybe be better to get a garage to tackle the front ones.

I'd get a garage to do it, purely so you know it's safe, peace of mind etc. Then if anything goes wrong, you can take it back.

Also get an invoice, so when you sell the car, the buyer knows it wasn't done by an amateur!

i want to lower mine but also dont want to pay more on my insurance. is there anyway around this? maybe changing the springs for some other vauxhall ones?
