a previous thread has been posted on this subject but as it helped me im going to share this in order to help others that didnt read it.
after spending the day on my car getting it ready for the track day on wednesday i decided to test out the work of my labour. went for a drive and when going really hard round a few right hand bends a big cloud of smoke would come out the exhaust. although normal driving was fine, the was oil getting in the block some how and ALOT OF IT. it woz smoking like a bitch
to cut a long story short i took of the cam cover to find the paint (cam cover had been powdercoated) had bubbled up and as nearly about to flake everywhere.
i then took off the screws for the oil gallery plate, when i took that plate off undernealth where the oil gallery should be was NOTHING.!!
the oil when conering hard to the right consecutivly had been rushing up the cam cover and as there was no gallery to stop it, had then been rushing through the oil breather hoses straight into the throttle body into the engine and buring out the exhaust causing clouds of smoke!!!!!!
PICTURES TO FOLLOW OF THE CAM COVER IT IS BAD!!
i surgest everyone just take 5minuites to cheak there cam cover if painted or chromed it could save you your engine ive caught mine just before the damage had been done. fingers crossed
:
also put standard cam cover on and now, result, no smoke

I wouldn't even dare have any paint on the inside of an engine, surely common sense more than anything!
