OK specs first, to lower a Corsa B 1.4SRi (8v) by max (yes Maximum) -30 rear by -40 front. Got 17" on a 39 offset atm with wide combat kit but new spacers coming which will pull the wheels out to about 43ET. God help the bearings. (btw on about Xtremewheels car as I am his banker errr Mum)

Cost -v- benefit question for you.

If you had a limited budget but you needed to replace rear stock springs anyway cos they were an MOT fail (both fractured???) and you decided you would take the opportunity to lower at the same time what would you do?

a) Just replace with lowering springs

b) Replace with Lowering Springs and Shortened Shocks

c) Replace with Full Coilover kit

What is the benefit (ie handling and ride) b and c against a for example? Is there any other option that should/could be considered

Moving house next week and packed all our reference books away

Thanks

Di
